Financial Control, Interim, Non-Exec, Company Secretarial,

Economic Statistical Feasibility

For our consulting in your commercial activity we would expect to assume control of financial affairs of the company as a whole; like the control exercised by a Financial Director or Controller, provided in-house at agreed intervals or externally based. Reporting responsibilities would be to Managing Director or Executive of the Board of Directors/Governors. We would work to planned, set targets and deliver results. Your company’s own financial recording would ensure due care is taken to keep these true, fair and complete at all times. We advise on internal requirements to enable this. Periodically, we would deliver an operational management report for the company to act upon.

At times a company may experience shortfalls in its management structure. This can be for one of various legitimate reasons. Take for example a key person illness where it’s not possible to exclude their work despite their absence.

In line with the principles held by your organisation we can provide Interim-management support of an exceptional nature. We would discuss to underpin a reliable role for  the longer term rather than fill-in a temporary seat.  An in-house or external function can be arranged.

The two scenarios above lead to Non-Exec positions. In our varied commercial experience we have been selected to sit on boards of our clients, in various roles. Often as independent bystander, observer and researcher in support of the decision making process. Policy changes in pension schemes or dividend considerations for directors, risk-assessment, expenses, taxes-both corporate and personal are all part of our remit. As part of increasingly required true governance in organisations, our independent contributions and stature in your Board mix would provide much desired value-added capable objectivity, enabling new, fresh and  balanced informed decisions. We have in addition, for a number of years provided a useful Company Secretarial function to our clients. See Companies House's new guidelines.

Our economic and costs feasibility advises clients of an outcome based on a research process with an average time span of nine months to two years. With access to worldwide research establishments and our own facilities, the company would in due course advise Management/Board on a plan of action to achieve the desired results. Research that is truly beneficial is provided without employment burden or the need to redeploy staff. Furthermore, an external service provides the distanced objective viewpoint that is essential to feasibility studies.
